Cada 16 de julio, la villa de Cangas del Narcea se llena de emoción con la renombrada Descarga. Alrededor de las ocho de la tarde, justo cuando la imagen de la Virgen del Carmen cruza el antiguo puente en su camino hacia la capilla, el cielo de Cangas se ilumina con fuegos artificiales y explosiones de pólvora durante varios minutos. Un espectáculo que despierta los sentidos y crea una atmósfera vibrante y cautivadora.

Every July 16th, the town of Cangas del Narcea is filled with excitement during the renowned Descarga. Around eight in the evening, as the image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel crosses the old bridge on its way to the chapel, the sky erupts with fireworks and the thunder of gunpowder for several minutes. A spectacular display that awakens the senses and creates a vibrant, captivating atmosphere.

FIESTA DE LA VENDIMIA

La Fiesta de la Vendimia en Cangas del Narcea es un evento excepcional, ya que es la única comarca productora de vino en Asturias con su DOP Vino de Cangas. Los viñedos de montaña presentes aquí hacen que la recolección sea una actividad realmente heroica. Tiene lugar cada año durante el Puente del Pilar, en la primera quincena de octubre, y ofrece una amplia e interesante gama de actividades relacionadas con la vendimia.

GRAPE HARVEST FESTIVAL

The Harvest Festival in Cangas del Narcea is a truly unique event, held in the only wine-producing region in Asturias, home to the DOP Vino de Cangas. The mountain vineyards here make grape harvesting a genuinely heroic task. Celebrated each year during the Puente del Pilar holiday in early October, the festival offers a wide and engaging range of activities related to the grape harvest.
