Entrar en su céntrico local de Oviedo es entrar en la historia de la repostería asturiana y española. Conservando intactos desde 1914 elementos singulares como el mostrador de mármol de carrara gris o su caja registradora en ese extraordinario establecimiento, Camilo de Blas ofrece auténticas delicias.

Cumplir nada menos que un siglo de la creación y fabricación del “Carbayón”, el más típico dulce ovetense, un pastel de hojaldre, almendra y yema, que da nombre al mítico árbol y al gentilicio de los nacidos en Oviedo, da buena muestra de que la excelencia en el trabajo de la familia De Blas, en su quinta generación, perdura en el tiempo y les hace patrimonio de Oviedo y Asturias.

Desde sus inicios tienen como actividad principal la venta de productos de confitería, y como actividad secundaría la venta de delicatessen y productos gourmet. Sus tiendas aúnan historia, tradición y esmero por ofrecer calidad suprema a sus clientes.

To celebrate no less than a century since the creation and manufacture of the ‘Carbayón’, the most typical pastry of Oviedo—a puff pastry with almond and yolk filling, named after the legendary tree and the demonym for those born in Oviedo— is proof that the excellence in the work of the De Blas family, now in its fifth generation, endures over time and makes them part of the heritage of Oviedo and Asturias.
