Llanera es puro corazón en el mismo centro geométrico de Asturias. Lugar por donde todo pasa, desde el Camino de Santiago o la Vía de la Plata hasta eventos únicos como la fiesta de recreación histórica de Exconxuraos o el festival Boombastic. Centro del paraíso, situada en un lugar estratégico, la historia dejó huella de su pasado en el emplazamiento romano Lucus Asturum, el nudo más importante de comunicaciones en la Asturias trasmontana de la época romana.
Un yacimiento con un gran potencial que ha dejado vestigios de la importancia de la tradición creativa vinculada a la cerámica, que ha sido clave en el desarrollo del municipio. Más allá de su patrimonio artístico, donde destacan construcciones prerrománicas y románicas, Llanera guarda paisajes naturales incomparables como los Covarones o el pico Santufirme, desde donde divisar la llanura central asturiana. Además, en el complejo deportivo de La Morgal se encuentra el Museo y Circuito Fernando Alonso, dedicado a la figura del piloto.

Llanera is pure heart at the very geometric centre of Asturias. It is a place where everything happens, from the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) and the Silver Route to unique events such as the historical re-enactment festival of Exconxuraos and the Boombastic music festival. It is the centre of paradise, situated in a strategic location where history has left a mark of its past on the Roman settlement of Lucus Asturum, the most important communications hub in the Asturias tramontane of the Roman era.
An archaeological site with great potential that has left traces of the importance of the creative tradition linked to ceramics, which has been key to the development of the municipality. In addition to its artistic heritage, which includes pre-Romanesque and Romanesque constructions, Llanera has incomparable natural landscapes such as the Covarones and the Santufirme peak, from where you can make out the central Asturian plain. Furthermore, the La Morgal sports complex is home to the Fernando Alonso Museum and Circuit, dedicated to the driver.
